Job Title: Business Development Representative

Location: Birmingham, Al / Remote Position

Classification: Part-time

Pay/Salary: Hourly with Commission

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development
    • Participating in networking events
    • Increasing public awareness of The Osprey Group
    • Proposal writing – taking scope provided by technical solution architects and converting into client facing proposal
    • New client acquisition
  • Social Media
    • Posting corporate content on various social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Computer Science, Marketing or related field

UI/UX Front-End Developer

Job Title: UI/UX Front-End Developer

Location: Birmingham, Al / Remote Position

Classification: Full-Time

Position Description:

The Osprey Group is looking for a UI/UX focused front end developer to join our growing team.  The ideal candidate would have some level of coding experience and understanding as well as keeping up with latest trends, principles, and best practices as it relates to design standards and UI/UX.  Wire-framing, website design, in-app design and some level of graphic design are all areas in which the candidate filling this position should be familiar with. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding client requirements and then elegantly designing how users of the applications/websites will interact with the site
  • Developing and producing wireframes prior to development work to seek buy-in from clients prior to software development work
  • Developing client websites (we typically use Wordpress)
  • Front-end software development for websites as well as applications (responsive web apps + native apps)

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Proven record of developing elegant websites
  • Previous coding experience primarily front-end based
  • Competent in wireframing solutions such as Figma, AdobeXD, etc.
  • Experience in React is a plus
  • Experience in Wordpress, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.
